Family Ministry at Abundant Life partners with parents in laying a spiritual foundation for their families. We offer interactive educational opportunities, fun family activities, and family-friendly community groups—all designed to help families maintain relationships within the faith community and grow as disciples of Jesus.
SPECIAL SUPPORT DURING THE CHILDBEARING YEARS
Becoming a parent for the first (or second… or fifth) time is hard! This is a period of some of the most intense feelings we may ever experience. We meet young families in their real-life situations to minister to physical, social, educational, and spiritual needs. The church has a particular responsibility to families in their childbearing years: to encourage and equip families to invite Jesus into the process of becoming parents. We want to facilitate real community support around your family and help you approach birth and new parenthood with a spirit of power and of love (2 Timothy 1:7).
We achieve this through education, counseling, in-home support (like meals and light housework), facilitating child dedications, and lots and lots of listening. We also have experience in supporting families during pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and infant loss—please reach out! Contact Rachel Stamey (firstname.lastname@example.org).

NURSERY & PRESCHOOL
During every service and major event at Abundant Life, we provide an environment in which every child will be safe, cared for, and ministered to at his or her level of development. We strive to balance fun and learning, provide age-appropriate snacks, and have a diverse staff of joyous and skilled volunteer teachers and helpers.
Our Sunday Offerings for Birth through Pre-K
Nursery: 6 weeks – 15 months*
Toddler: 15 months* – 2 ½ years (drop off and pick up through the nursery)
Preschool: 2 ½* – Pre-K
*These ages are a guideline only. Each child will be placed in the class that will provide the best fit for his or her developmental stage.
Check In and Security: Please visit the Early Childhood Welcome Center in the Nursery to sign your child into class for each service. This will assign your family a unique security code, which you’ll need for check-out. In the event that your child’s teacher needs to contact you during service, you will be sent a text message or a Children’s Ministry leader will find you.
Please label any diaper bags, sippy cups, special snacks, etc.
Diapers and Potty: All early childhood rooms are equipped with changing tables. Parents are always welcome to use these facilities for their children even if they are attending the service together as a family. (Please note: There are no diapering facilities in the restrooms.) The preschool room includes a semi-private restroom for children’s use. In the nursery and toddler classes, all children’s diapers will be checked and changed if needed at all services. Please notify the teacher if you do not wish your child’s diaper to be changed. Making sure your child has used the restroom or has a fresh diaper before each service is a great help to our teachers!
Helpful conversations to have with your child’s teacher: Please notify the teacher of any food allergies, medical conditions, special needs, or custody issues before service. You can discuss temporary issues like teething or separation anxiety, also. We want to interact with your child in a way that is effective and familiar for your child—this might look a little different for each child. The more information you share, the more successful we can be.
We are dedicated to reach each child at his or her level of development, teach them the love of Christ and the pathway to salvation, help them to develop and maintain a personal relationship with the Lord, and encourage them to share the love of Christ with others.
KidZone is the place to be at 9 & 11 a.m. on Sundays if you’re in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Friends, fun, worship, and age appropriate messages are what kids can expect every week. A volunteer staff of caring, high-energy adults is on hand to mentor children as they grow in their walk with Christ.
Wednesday Night Recharge: 6:30pm

ALFC Impact Youth helps students in 6th-12th grades build a solid foundation on the Rock. It’s our goal that students are secure in their faith and ready to live their lives for Jesus by the time they are ready to find their place in the adult world. We achieve this through relevant teachings, adventure opportunities, solid adult mentorship, positive peer relationships, parental engagement, and fostering a strong connection between the students and the larger church community. Events include Sunday and mid-week services, and discipleship groups.

Women’s Ministries at Abundant Life Foursquare Church is about creating an environment that is full of grace, open-armed to every woman who walks through our doors. We strive to develop safe, lasting relationships with each other. We encourage each woman to develop a deep relationship with Jesus and give her tools and opportunities to help her do just that. We strive to see each woman find her value in her relationship with God–to understand that her identity as a daughter of God and follower of Christ are more essential than her role as wife, mother, employee, or whatever other label she might wear. We achieve this through mentorship, fun activities, encouraging volunteerism, deliberate support of other church ministries and events, and more.
Hi, I'm Pastor Deanna!
Men’s Ministry at Abundant Life focuses on growing and maturing men into the likeness of Christ, becoming pleasing to God our Father. We help men develop their identity based on who they are in Christ. We value the growth of intimacy in our relationships to Jesus and others, starting with our family, friends, and community. These healthy relationships help safeguard our spiritual and relational integrity. Living this way allows us to become men of influence in the world around us. Our activities include small community groups, breakfasts and dinners, SEAL training (multi-week large group gatherings) and advances. Abundant Life men advance, we do not retreat!
Hi, I'm Pastor Ken!
Here at Abundant Life Foursquare Church we understand that being in the military means you will have a unique lifestyle with various demands. We believe that it is vital to invest in those who are serving in our military. We are here for you. We’ve developed community groups, ministries, and activities with you in mind.
The Military Ministry of ALFC works to provide a family community for those who are far from their own homes and families. Whether you’re trying to deepen your walk with Jesus and need some accountability and like-minded peers or you’re craving a safe place to relax and hang out with friends, we’re here for you! We enjoy eating, trips, studying God’s Word, and serving our community together!

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, habits, and hang-ups through the “8 Recovery Principles.” We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, stronger personal relationships with God and others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
Addiction and dysfunction effect the whole family, and this is a ministry where the whole family can be healed. We offer the Landing Zone for teens & Celebration Place for children every Friday.
Every Friday night:
6 p.m. Dinner in “The Solid Rock Cafe” ($8 per family/$3 per person)
7-9 p.m. Large group meeting followed by gender-specific, open-share small groups
Various days and times:
Gender specific Step Studies
Retreats and seminar

Abundant Life is known for deep teachings on both spiritual and practical issues. We offer many classes designed to help you grow in your knowledge, maturity, and faith journey.
CLEANSING STREAM: Are you ready to be transformed? Knowing God’s heart is the key to healing and freedom. This 13 week workshop takes an intimate look at the heart of God and His plan for your life. The workshop requires attendance at a one day retreat at ALFC, commitment to the completion of all book work, and the sharing of personal barriers in your walk with God.
OLYMPIC BIBLE INSTITUTE: Take your knowledge of Scripture to the next level. We offer college-level Bible classes for adults and older teens. Available for credits toward a certificate from Life Pacific College.
MISSIONS & OUTREACH
We are called to look beyond ourselves and to reach others with the Good News of Christ. We make a point to back up our words with acts of compassion. We partner with existing organizations, notably Naval Avenue Early Learning Center and Jackie’s School in Guatemala City, as well as do independent service projects.
There are lots of opportunities to participate in local outreach and service projects throughout the year. We collect food for Bremerton Backpack Brigade, hold diaper drives, host the Back to School Fair in partnership with Bremerton School District, hold playground work parties and volunteer as lunch buddies at Naval Ave ELC, and more.
Our current overseas focus is Guatemala City. We send short-term teams to give families clean drinking water and safe, efficient cook stoves and to support local pastors in their ministries. We have adopted Jackie’s School in the Guatemala City’s La Isla community and support them with facility improvements (painting, improved play area, and more), safe drinking water, school supplies, and financial support.
ACT III: SENIOR MINISTRY
ACT III is a ministry of retired or thinking about retiring folks who love Jesus and want to live with passion and purpose as we serve Jesus in our ACT III years. We love to get together for fellowship, food and fun as we use our gifts and talents at Abundant Life and in the community. Our ministry is designed around 5 pillars:
5 PILLARS OF ACT III
- Faith in Jesus
- Relationships with Family and Friends
- Health and Wellness
- Life Long Learning
- Finishing Strong
We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Multi-Purpose Room (Room 4). Our meetings begin with a shared meal, a time of worship and a program around one of our 5 Pillars. We also enjoy helping with church and community projects, attending events in the community and sharing our lives together
