Bible Text: Acts 2:40-47 | Preacher: Pastor Ken | Series: Mighty in His Power
Acts 2:40-47 40And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; … 42And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Matthew 28:18-20 18…Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
9Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.
11Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;
But how can one be warm alone?
12Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Romans 15:1-6 1We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3For even Christ did not please Himself; …  that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
EMC2 is a lifestyle that is like a circle we are continuously working on, growing, changing, repeating, moving forward.
Evangelism is followed and supported by maturity which is best developed in community; community is a key component of evangelism and the cycle continues on and on in a healthy manner.
How are you going to put these principles into practice?
