Living In Expectancy

Pastor:
Passage: Acts 3:1-10
Service Type:

Bible Text: Acts 3:1-10 | Preacher: Pastor Steve
Acts 3:1-10
We need to live in the expectation of God’s invasion into our private world in redemptive and resurrection power that will change our present life and circumstance(s).
God wants us to live with spiritual “expectation” not in spiritual “desperation”
Satisfaction is ALWAYS found living in Jesus!
The beggar positioned himself where God and God’s people were.
Unless we position ourselves in the right place we may not get the right help.
We NEED Jesus!
John 16:23–24 Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Why do we reach out for SPARE CHANGE when what we need is a change in our soul?
The human heart will seek satisfaction in anything and everything but Jesus Christ.
Satisfaction is Found by Bringing God all the Glory!
When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
This man with disabilities chose to walk into the temple for all the worshipers to witness what God had just done in his life through the healing and saving power of Jesus’ name. Our ministry to our community is to live out the miracle of our new life as if it just happened.
