The Slavery Syndrome
Exodus 1:1-16

Resentment: …the Egyptians used them
Death: …if it is a boy, kill him…

When We Allow Our Enemy To Enslave Us
We are broken
We are worthless
We are hopeless
We are fearful
The Principle of Overcoming
Allowing the Holy Spirit to dramatically change our personal priorities and how we view ourselves, our attitude and our self-perception.
The Passover Teaches Us That Lord Is Dealing With Our Firsts
Priorities: Every firstborn son in Egypt will die…
Schedules: This month is to be for you the first month…
Possessions: The animals you choose must be a male of the first year without defect.
Attitudes: On the same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn-both men and animal-and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.
Hearts: The first day remove the yeast from your houses.
Commitments: The Lord said to Moses, Consecrate to me every firstborn male… whether man or animal.
The Lord Is Our Protector
Lamentations 3:22-24 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness
Listen To The Voice Of The Lord Today
Hebrews 3:7-15 Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, they always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.
Today Listen To The Voice Of The Lord
…but exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end while it is said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion
We Will Receive A New Spirit
Ezekiel 11:18-21 …And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their hearts of stone and give them tender hearts instead, so they will obey my laws and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God…
God Wants His People To Overcome And Live Free!
Exodus 20:1-3 And God spoke all these words: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.
John 1:29-30 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Passover is walking towards me!
