Bible Text: Deuteronomy 24:19-22 and Colossians 3:15-17 | Pastor: Pastor Steve | Success Can Be Healthy Or Hazardous
Deuteronomy 24:19-22 When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don’t go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans, and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do. When you beat the olives from your olive trees, don’t go over the boughs twice. Leave some of the olives for the foreigners, orphans, and widows. This also applies to the grapes in your vineyard. Do not glean the vines after they are picked, but leave any remaining grapes for the foreigners, orphans, and widows…

Serving and Caring
Matthew 10:42 And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.
Thankfulness Flows From Being In God’s Presence
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

…let the peace of God rule in your hearts…
We Are Owners, Not Renters
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Thankfulness Grows In The POSITIVE Environment of A POSITIVE Attitude
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so, it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes.” ― Charles Swindoll
Entitlement Is The 21st Century Challenge
The more we think we’re entitled; The less we will be thankful.
The Bible Teaches That NOT BEING Thankful To God Is Sin
Romans 1:21-22 …they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened…
To Be Grateful Or To Be Ungrateful
1 Corinthians 10:10-11 And do not grumble, as some of them did and were killed by the destroying angel. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us…
