Passage: Ephesians 6:4

Bible Text: Ephesians 6:4 | Pastor: Pastor Ken | Series: Ephesians: Engaging the Power of God’s Amazing Grace

Psalm 68:5-6 5A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation. 6God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;

Ephesians 6:1-4 6Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2″Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3″that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

4And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

Mark 12:28-31 …Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.  30And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 4″Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

6″And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up…

Psalm 78:1-4 Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. …3Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. 4We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

Proverbs 22:6 6Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

2 Timothy 3:14-17 14But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
