We're proud partners of MOPS International

Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.

Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.

We meet October through June on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m.

No matter how many kids a mom has, whether she works or stays-at-home, married or single, MOPS and MOMSnext groups empower her to link arms with other moms and journey together through motherhood.

What’s the difference?
MOPS is designed for any mom who is expecting her first child until her last heads off to kindergarten. MOMSnext is for any mom of school-aged kids. MOMSnext moms are invited to sit together for more targeted discussion.

What is a group meeting like?

  • A welcoming and open environment
  • Mentoring and leadership development opportunities
  • Time for creative activities
  • Valuable take-away teachings and lessons
  • Intimate discussions around your table
  • And best of all … childcare (and it’s free!)

THIS YEAR IS FOR THE ONES WHO ARE READY TO COME ALIVE AGAIN

Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

LUKE 5:18-20, NIV

“People settle for a level of despair they can tolerate and call it happiness.” This is the year we no longer settle for tolerable despair, and instead, we’ll dream bigger, risk greater and love better. And the way we’re going to do that is through the company we keep. We’re here to remind you that having your people by your side is not a perk of living a giant, beautiful, juicy life – it’s a prerequisite.
