ALFC Weekday Co-op Season 3:
Jan 6—Feb 25, 2021
Weekday Co-op Options: Wednesdays or Thursdays, 9am—noon
Registration required: alfc.us/co-op
What is this? In a nutshell, Abundant Life Family Co-op is Christ-centered extra-curricular education. Small groups of students, parents, and ALFC volunteers meet in person once a week for a pre-determined season. Kids ages 4 (pre-k) – 12th grade participate in fun learning classes such as Bible Education, Hands-on Science, and Creative Arts.
What kind of time commitment are we looking at? Small groups of kids will meet together one morning a week for 3 hours during the Co-op season. And perhaps the best part: PARENTS DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT OR VOLUNTEER DURING CO-OP SESSIONS, BUT MAY CHOOSE TO DO SO 🙂
How much does this cost? A suggested donation* of $25 per family registers your children ages 4 (pre-k) to 12th grade for weekly 3-hour enrichment sessions at Abundant Life. Plus a suggested donation* of $5 per child per week covers materials. *NOTE: no family will be turned away from participating based on inability to make a financial donation.
What about the pandemic? ALFC follows Kitsap County guidelines regarding the use of masks, health screenings, physical distancing, no sharing of food or materials, hand washing, and room sanitization between groups. This a closed group during the co-op season to minimize exposure from others.
Can I choose my days and times? Currently two options are available: Wednesdays (Pre-K through 12th grade) or Thursdays (K-5th only). Hours are 9am—noon on both days.
Are Co-op and Pods the same thing? Pods meet during services on Sundays. Co-op meets either on Wednesdays or Thursdays for 3 hours and includes grades 6-12.
Can my child attend both a Pod and Co-op? Yes, as long as you have registered your child ahead of time. See other side for Pods info.
